So yeah, Again, he is a very dominant player, and he'll get his feet underneath him with this new system, and I can see him getting better each week because he's going to be their bell cow for the rest of the year on that side of the ball.
28:10
Yeah, I don't think people realize the difference that makes going from a three technique to a five technique.
28:15
Like, you're just bouncing out a little bit.
28:17
You know, you're talking, what, three feet or so.
28:20
But the whole timing is completely different, right? It's like a guard moving out to tackle or a center moving out to guard.
28:26
The amount of time that you have between the snap and a contact is different, which means your step has to be different, which means your contact is different timed.
28:34
which means your counter has to be different time.

So I'm curious if you guys have ever played on a horrible field, like if there was bad footing or maybe it was an international game, I don't know, but does anything, we'll start with you, Travis, does anything come to mind?
42:31
And then over the years, why has your friendship blossomed into kind of what it is now?
42:37
I mean, it really started straight from the beginning.
42:39
Somebody at the Cowboys organization after they drafted Zach was like, Hey, you should get ahold of this guy.
42:44
He's just like you, you're going to really like him.
42:46
And I was like, all right, whatever.
42:47
So I reached out to him.
42:48
And at the time I had an extra car because I had a dealer that had let me borrow one.

In your opinion, what is it that makes Dak Prescott special or do you have a favorite story you want to share?
38:50
Yeah,
38:51
and I got super fortunate, you know, when I came in my rookie year in the league and we were running more wide zone.
38:57
I had a great set of coaches that had done it and played.
39:00
you know sort of perfected it and taught me all of the ins and outs of how to how to do it um and then you pair that with some of my physical abilities my ability to turn my hips uh was was always like a key for me and my stoutness if you will like I could do I could turn sideways and cross my feet which is a no-no in all things and even if I got hit I was I was okay um and I could recover off of that and that was probably like the the number one thing that made it work for me But reaching the nose is always hard.
39:29
The other thing that's really difficult is just analyzing the play at the line of scrimmage.
39:33
You have such little time to do it, and you're tasked with so much.
39:37
And I got tasked with even more once they figured out that I could do it.

What was it like for a middle-of-nowhere Wisconsin kid to play in Big D, and what was it like to live and breathe Big D? the Jerry world experience.
