Traverse City West Senior High School

Let's go back to district semifinals.

Portage Northern took down TC West 51-43.

Muskegon-Mona Shores took down Traverse City Central 49-42.

And as you just mentioned, Mount Pleasant defeated Petoskey 35-14.

That starts this week.

Marquette and Alpena currently underway.

In just a couple of minutes, Petoskey will take on Gaylord, and Mount Pleasant will take on TC West for Division I.

In Division II, Kaukaska will take on Sault Ste.

First round of playoffs in Division I, Porter Central knocks off Hudsonville 21-14.

In Division 2, Portage Northern over Traverse City West, 51-43.

In Division 3, it was St. Joe over Zeeland East, 34-20.

Thorn Apple Kellogg over Coldwater, 42-34.

It's like Big Ten SEC battle, right? Yeah.

In Division I, Portage Central out of the SMAC beats Hudsonville 21-14.

In Division II, out of the SMAC, Portage Northern knocks off Traverse City West 51-43.

In Division III, St. Joe knocks off Zeeland East 34-20.

Northern Michigan still has two teams left in the MHSAA soccer tournament.

And regional finals happened last night as East Kentwood defeated TC West 3-1.

I should say, excuse me, that one team left.

At least there's one.

We have jubilation and heartbreak in boys high school playoff soccer from yesterday.

Traverse City West will advance to regional finals after they beat Grand Haven in regional semis yesterday 3-1.

Elk Rapids continues their winning ways as they got a regional semifinals win 3-0 against Freeland.

But the Harbor Springs Rams saw their soccer season come to an end after they fell to Leland in Division 4 regional semis 4-0.

Harbor Springs will take on Leland at 7 o'clock.

And TC West will take on Grand Haven at 7.30. And for volleyball matchups tonight, currently underway is Johannesburg-Lewiston and Alcona, Gaylord-St. Mary and Maple City-Glenn Lake, Pelston and Sheboygan, and coming up at 6.30 is Cadillac and Alpena, Gaylord and T.C. West, and at 7 is Benzie Central and Elk Rapids, Frankfurt and Lake Leelanau-St. Mary, Houghton Lake and McBain-Northern Michigan-Christian, and Mancelona and Grayling, and at 7.30 is Hillman at Tawas.

Well, in soccer, as it is the lone playoffs that are already underway, football will be kicking off soon, but Northern Michigan is guaranteed to have at least one team left locally as Harbor Springs and Leland, as Austin said, will be playing each other.

So even if Elk Rapids and T.C. West lose, there will be a local rooting interest heading to, I think it would be the regional finals? The regional final.

Mount Pleasant is a very good team at 8-1.

They split the conference title with Midland Dow and Traverse City West.

Bigger school, better record.

How does Petoskey keep themselves in this game?

That's going to be a good game, I can tell you that.

Elk Rapids and Kalkaska, Frankfurt and Oscoda, Gaylord will host Croswell-Lexington, Cadillac will be traveling south to Greenville, Kingsley will hit the road and they'll take on Hazlitt, Johannesburg-Lewiston will take on Manton, Lake City will be hosting Mason County Central, Mancelona will take on Benzie Central, McBain will host Fowler, Grayling will take on Shepard at Shepard, Tawas will host Maple City-Glenn Lake, TC Central will take on TC West in the annual Patriot game.

That's going to be another good one, ladies and gentlemen.

You do not want to miss that one.

Cam Noe from Portage Central.

Brayden from up at Traverse City West.

Just, man, it has been an experience to have those guys over game day.

You get... uh really a lot of a lot more open as they're on the the visit is about to get underway they're telling you what they're looking for they're telling you where michigan stands on their list you got their parents there you get a chance to get some insight from them it's been a really really good platform and lexus of ann arbor uh has been a big part of bringing it to life so and they can be a big part of obviously getting you to a Michigan game, so make sure you get involved, and maybe you'll be a lucky winner before the season's over.
