Transgender health care

I mean, it's just, it's just a, woo! Have you guys seen the price of diesel? Woo! I'll tell you what.

They want to pass the transgender healthcare access, Act.

And of course, it was introduced by a representative from Vermont.

Shocker.

And while both systems organize things very differently and have very different leadership, neither exist outside of the politics of health fascism.

And the thing that we wanna consider today is how this all points toward how to move forward strategically, not just in the realm of struggle with trans care, but I think generally as left movements.

There's a lot to learn about what is to be done from thinking through the carcerality of the anti-trans backlash.

the gender ideology.

There's something called WPATH, the World Professional Association of Trans- for Transgender Health, uh, the Endocrine Society, another society, the American Psychological Association.

We talk about the fact that in these professional organizations, uh, that people can sometimes and oftentimes would trust because, wow, these people must know what they're talking about, they're these big organizations, but they were led by gender ideologues and individuals who pushed this ideology of gender ideology and pushed, advocated, they advocated heavily for sex-rejecting procedures, not really looking at the gold standard science that suggested, no, that's not the way to treat these kids.

And so you have these ideologues who, who, who push things forth, ideologues who promote it, ideologues who get behind it.
