Transformers: Animated

I was really worried about Hemsworth in Transformers 1, and I was actually pleasantly surprised with his performance.

I think, is it David Kaye did his voice in Transformers Animated? Oh,

yeah.

So seeing that battle happen with all that going on, especially when they got Weird Al to come back and do a lot of voicing for, I think, Earthspark.

He was Cosmos.

He was Rekgar in it, Transformers Animated.

So I'm glad he's stuck with it.

Not by much.

I feel like if anybody wants to make that costume of Sari dressing as Optimus Prime from Transformers Animated, that lid is a perfect headpiece for it.

um oh real quick before you go to the next thing i believe didn't stern say they were going to send something along

It's just that car mode is just so freaking cool.

He's basically Transformers Animated.

Yeah, a little bit.

Yeah, a little bit.

But, um, but regardless, what would be really cool is if they had, uh, blacked out rub signs.

Now granted, I, I've kind of stole that visual language from, you know, Lockdown from Transformers Animated, and yeah, no, I just, I, I think, I think that concept is very cool that, like, you can do something that is canon to the toys.

Uh, 'cause I don't, I don't remember where the rub signs were on, uh, those three characters specifically, but it, it was explicitly not on their chest front and center like, uh, um, like we see here.

Um, but yeah, it's just...

It does show a series of clips when it talks to him about how there are many versions of him and their fates are all the same.

It does show a bunch of clips of different Optimus Primes from Transformers Animated.

I actually liked that.

I liked that.

That part was pretty cool.

That was neat.

It, it shows the movie optimist, the Bay verse movie optimist prime shows prime from transformers animated.

It shows prime from the G one cartoon in that style.

Soundwave superior, Constructicons inferior.

Now, obviously, that line has its own legacy, and it's been recontextualized in a number of different spaces, including in Transformers Animated, where that version of Soundwave declares himself superior while the Autobots are inferior, he says.

Autobots

inferior, Soundwave superior.

I'm 37.

I'm 37? I'm going to class.

But then I watched Transformers Animated and I realized that indeed that is a line that that iteration of Soundwave says.

He doesn't say it here.
