So this 2026 summer transfer window, I feel like, was a bit of a trendsetter in women's football for so many reasons.

Not only because we saw some pretty crazy transfers happen, some sort of era-changing transfers happen, but when you look deeper and when you explore these deals from behind the scenes- you actually get to see that there was quite a few records in terms of money and transfers and fees that were established this summer window that tells us quite a lot about what's happening in the women's game.

So since about 2018, FIFA has consistently released reports after the January window and the summer window, and then towards the end of the year, they sort of do an all-year transfer summary or report.

And what these reports usually entail is the number of transfers we got to see, the number of transfers that were loaned or end of contract, and what that sum of money across those transfer windows looked like.

And just for a little bit of context, that summer window runs from June 1st to September 2nd.

You might see some differences with specific leagues, but in general that is the window where clubs are able to bring in players, sell players, again depending on some of the rules that certain leagues have.

And so for the transfers that I'll be talking about today and those that are highlighted within the FIFA report, these are all international transfers.

And as a fan of the Prem, we've now implemented our science transfers, our transfer market, something that's making people very upset because the idea that the US is losing its edge is a math, uh, a mathama, whatever the word is, uh, is, is just, is so counter to their worldview.

We're still building it out piece by piece, but you can start to see with our first 37 scientists we've put in here, who are big names, global laureates, people who've won big prizes, leaders of labs, uh, it's not looking good right now.

Yeah.

It's not a complete data set, but you'll be able to look at each of the transfers individually, their effective date.

You can see where they're coming from, where they're going, what the sources are for it.
