Trans-Arabian Pipeline

He died in a plane crash.

It was after his visit to Saudi Arabia to try to determine the root of the Trans-Arabian Pipeline.

And I was just six weeks old at that time.

So I didn't know him.

I felt like I was sort of retracing his footsteps, and I didn't really know what was the cause of the plane crash.

So to cut to the quick...

I found out that the Trans-Arabian Pipeline that he was looking at was huge.

It was America's biggest investment in the Middle East.

But I should just add, just for historically minded people, This was not the first CIA coup, as everyone thinks it was, and as everyone calls it.

The first CIA coup was to overthrow the president of Syria because he did not want the trans-Arabian pipeline that was going to carry all this rich oil from Saudi Arabia to the Mediterranean coast, he did not want it traversing Syria in a little place called the Golan Heights.

And because he was preventing it from crossing Syria, to terminate in either Lebanon or then Palestine.

He was overthrown.

The, uh, well, the Saudis benefit big oil benefits.

Israel benefits is perfect.

And, um, Guess what? I've seen maps of it and it very closely follows the route of the original Trans-Arabian pipeline that my father was looking at to see what was the safest route.

He went to Saudi Arabia.
