I don't expect him to take a rehab assignment.

He never typically has during the course of his career when he's been hurt, so I just kind of expect him to just do Traject and lie BP and be okay and come back.

What I am curious to see... with judgey when he comes back is he going to dh he's going to play right field like how are they going to deploy him i think it'll be an interesting fit if they decide to dh him because obviously like you then kind of run into some roster issues as far as you know like how much is is rice going to play how much is garcia going to play like how do you run that position essentially um i think in a in a best case scenario he just plays right field for every single day and like you're kind of locked into that, and you can do whatever with first base DH.

But if they have to DH him, I'm curious to see how they structure their lineups with the roster configuration every single day.

This is the catalyst.

If you feel like you didn't check off all of those boxes in one sweeping blow, that's a season lost for them.

And it feels like they're, trajectory-wise, on par, or not even on par, they're set up to potentially do a little bit less than that this season.

And that's gotta be daunting for them, for a team that's trying to figure out their books while having just one of the most expensive players, but also one of the best players in the league on their roster.

There is some flux right now, and I think that's leading to opportunity for whoever would like to seize it.
