So the cool thing is, is that you, you know you can go and do one race and you got that time right you got a certain time and then you go right i want to beat that time next time um so the performance goal element of it is very addictive because you you know you're you're always going to be close to beating it if you can just make one run a little bit quicker can you do the sled push a little bit quicker can you do the row a little bit quicker so you're taking off a few seconds here and there to be able to beat your time so getting good at all the different workout station disciplines

My strength side of things, I like to do things that are... are safer right for my body especially having back injuries which i did from like too many deadlifts during crossfit training um and crossfit that's the thing i mean some people love crossfit i enjoy my time doing it but i think it's doing complex movements that are actually people spend years doing to master and people are doing like 50 60 reps yeah of these things when they're never designed to be done in those in those capacities um especially by the average joe you know when i consider myself an average joe like going into that when there's like high level athletes But so a lot of my strength training now, which I believe is extremely important as you get older, is all in movements that I feel are much safer.
