We were hosting an Oliver North funded thing.

Our Trail Life troop did the flags for you guys.

And that was kind of cool.

I remember that.

Raised a lot of money for scholarships for kids.

And let me tell you something.

Those Trail Life USA guys, they did a terrific job.

Oh, they did.

Of course, providing your son training and instruction is essential, but never forget the importance of prayer.

My daughter went to American Heritage Girls.

My boys did Trail Life.

And guess what? I, in air quotes, counted that as homeschool.

Those were other people that were, in air quotes, teachers to them.

So looking for those opportunities.

Trail Life USA is something that we're very involved in.

American Heritage Girls for the young ladies.

The Girl Scouts have embraced Islam now.

I don't know that there's a substitute Boy Scouts out there.

God bless Trail Life USA and the work that they do for young men, and I think s- um, sport, u- youth sports is out of control in some ways, but it could also provide, you know, some of these senses of involvement and, and accomplishment and not the way it's being done.

But, uh, I think Christian colleges have an incredibly important role, and it's, uh, tragic because so many of Christian colleges who have the kind of environment in place, th- you know, they're ideologically teaching things that are against this either in terms of marriage and family or men and women or something like that.

So I, I don't know.

They're pulling far away from godly values that once was taught in the Scouts that you and I grew up with, and now they're just going full out woke.

That's why my church has Trail Life USA as part of our teaching for the boys in the American Heritage Girls for the Yeah, there it is.

So here we are.

This is coming out more and more.

Now, some of you are probably r- very talented and very, uh, knowledgeable when it comes to starting a fire.

I, however, did not grow up going through Boy Scouts or Trail Life or anything like that.

So I use an aid.

I don't know how many of you use an aid.

Talking about life chain, how you can get involved in the events coming up.

Then we had Jason Bjorklund and Christopher Van Briesen talking about Trail Life, the South Dakota Charter of Trail Life, serving young boys and young men in just fostering their sense of adventure and connecting that with the gospel.

Just got off a segment with Nathan Sather.

First time I've ever met this man, but man, I feel like we could have a four or five hour conversation pretty easy.
