and this is actually i think maybe the only time in the film where we hear like a piece of jazz music being played somewhat like soulfully and it's like quite a quiet like thoughtful piece and there's kind of real emotion in it and and fletcher just like has everyone listen to it for a while and then he says oh that was sean casey he was a former student of mine and he kind of makes out like i made him great basically like he he barely squeaked in and then i trained him up and he then you know played for these great orchestras or whatever and then and he just died in a car crash so that's how we learn about and I think my impression of this scene is like what's important for Andrew is he sees this as an example of like oh like this is what I can become I can become a kind of Sean Casey like I can touch Fletcher in this way that he's like genuinely moved and it's not just you know he's not just going to be angry or something he's going to be really sad if I die in a car crash yeah Which is really important then for the next kind of big anxiety sequence where they're having this big rehearsal.

And like that then is like, we obviously have just learned that Sean Casey supposedly died in a car crash.

And I sort of felt like, is it that he unconsciously kind of wants to become like Sean Casey? He's like driving really recklessly.
