Track cycling

stuff

hey gash i'll get you out on this one uh i'm not sure how many miles you did on the bike this weekend or have you just been watching southland's tom sexton uh leading the way at the uci which always sounds so painful that is the track cycling world championships uh he went quite well

yeah i got out plenty got out plenty uh yes i saw tom uh winning that silver uh in the scratch race and uh look that was a good result but that was on top of what was a very disappointing campaign by new zealand's standards from over the last sort of 10 or 15 years that being so you know you look at someone like elise andrews who has been so so good over the last five years or so i think 11th in the karen you know this is somebody a past champion a com game she she got the medals but wasn't quite the dominant force.

Overall, our endurance squads, you know, sprinting's not what it was in terms of the men's sprint.

I think the technologies are a little bit better in terms of the aero position and the wind tunnel testing and all those things.

But it's nuts.

But just going back to the, you know, in terms of the championship overall, track cycling is so much fun to watch live.

And you're so close to the action.
