Tower of Song

So put them all together, he's had 29 hits all together spanning a full 45 years.

Having said that, he did get to number one on iTunes in 2022 with a song called I Won't Crumble With You If You Fall, and he was back in the iTunes top 10 just a few weeks ago with his cover of Leonard Cohen's Tower of Song.

There have been two other songs called I'll Never Fall in Love Again which charted.

Again, both in the sixes, but they're not the same song.

I just don't like him really as a person.

You know, he was on telly recently singing that song, Tower of Strength, or, wasn't he? And I just thought it-

Tower of Song.

Tower of Song, yeah.

Like we've all seen it like.

But Tom's sitting there anyways and decides to for some reason casually pick up the mic and sings Leonard Cohen's Tower of Song.

Have you ever heard it?

No.

It's fucking, Jesus Mike, it's fucking, it's bone deep.

It's well worth watch my friends

are gone and my hair is gray i ache in the places where i used to play and i'm crazy for love but i'm not coming home i'm just paying my rent every day in the tower of song I said to Hank Williams, how lonely does it get? Hank Williams hasn't answered me yet, but I hear him coughing all night long.

A hundred floors above me in the tower of song.

And there was another guy, Will.i.am, started as well, and he's devastated.

Yeah, there was a video going around the last couple of weeks of Tom doing the Tower of Song, that great song, doing it on the voice.

And the video's gone viral.

He might be 85 or 86.

I had spotted this happening.

Because I watched...

I love that song anyway, the Tower of Song, and I love his version of it.

And I often listen to it on my own Spotify.
