Tourniquet

Alright.

In front of my next pick, I am going with Tourniquet.

Here is something a lot of people do not realize.

Tourniquet was not originally an Evanescence song.

It was written by Rocky Gray, who later became the band's drummer for his earlier Christian metal project called Soul Embraced.

The original version was titled My Tourniquet when Evanescence reworked it for Fallen.

Amy Lee rewrote portions of the lyrics and reshaped the mood into what we hear today.

As we know a tourniquet stops bleeding.
