Tour de Suisse

It's between the Classics and the Giro, right? Not everybody is looking for that.

Or you take something that's just between the Giro and the Tour, like the Tour de Switzerland.

Yes, it's a big race, but it's between those ones where the I don't know if that applies as well to just a national tier or a local racing, but it's something you definitely see, and a savvy rider will be able to pick some of those out.

If that's where you think your best opportunity is, more power to you.

I think he'll also, you know, maybe he takes an Algarve.

Catalonia, probably a bit hard, but yeah, Basque Country, Romandy, Tour de Suisse.

You know, I think he will be given maybe one or two more stage races.

She had a really good ride, but then she had another really nasty crash, really hurt one of her glutes.

And then she came through, won the Tour de Suisse, came into the Tour de France, but... you know, arguably hadn't had good preparation given everything that had gone on this spring, took the yellow jersey by winning the time trial, lost the yellow jersey but was still on the podium and then on the final day lost everything on the podium.

So, you know, can you imagine the Marlon Roycer that we'd have seen at World Championships if all of those crazy crashes and recoveries hadn't happened, if she'd have managed to have a full season? Because actually Demi Vollering...

I mean, touch wood it continues because we don't want anybody to have nasty crashes, but she's never had one of those really, really big setbacks, which is great.

If Baxter can carry on performing the way she is, then how many world titles could she win in the future? And it's not just her time traveling that's impressive.

I think she'd had a... a really, I said breakthrough year because she does incredible things every year, but she's really kind of come to the fore on the top level this year, hasn't she? And shown different skill sets, you know, the win in the Tour de Suisse where she won that from a sprint finish, that brilliant form that she had up Col d'Az, trying to sport Cassini-Viadoma, kind of ripping the shreds off a lot of the best climbers in the world.

So, yeah, she's not just a very good time trialer, she's a very good all-rounder.

and uh yeah really exciting to see where she goes from here

Was it at Tour de Swiss maybe? And she was out of action for a while, but she's back, clearly on flying form.

Obviously we know Zoe's always flying as well, but she's probably gonna be targeting the time trial more.

Oh, she crashed, uh, okay, because she did crash heavily, I think, in the Tour of Switzerland, if I'm not mistaken, before the Tour de France.

Mikel Landa eating dinner, this was in June, um, at a race, the Tour of Switzerland, just like we were eating dinner in the same restaurant, and I thought like, "Man, I forgot he was racing." Like, I had no idea.

He was kinda like looking at the wines, and he was, like, talking to the bartender about the wines, going through the wine cellar.
