Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Under-21s and Academy

Yeah.

I, I, definitely feel that way and I, I hope so specifically for my upcoming trip where I'm going to three games where hopefully we're not playing the same way that we were against Plymouth but like you said last year I feel like the main thing that kind of made us not a good team was potentially that recruitment like you said but coming into this year with Scott Mitchell obviously I think we got a ton of great signings, uh, as you guys talked about already with Yusuf Aykanrich and Dane Scarlett, Jace Cabia, and a handful of other great players but it, one question mark that's just in my mind right now is kind of where is Dane Scarlett? You know? Where he's this one of the highest rated Tottenham Academy prospects ever that came out of there.

Everybody highly rate...

He's such a highly rated player and I feel like I haven't really seen enough of him or enough chance for him to, you know, be a player, uh, that he wants to be.

He came on against Cheltenham in the League Cup, then had a small fitness problem.

He returned on Tuesday, last Tuesday, for Tottenham Under-21s in the Premier League Under-21 International Cup.

So that's why he wasn't part of the Carabao Cup squad at Liverpool.

So you can't criticise De Zerbi for not having him there.

At centre-back, Japheth Tanganga was playing at the highest level in 2021.

The Tottenham Academy graduate had already broken into Jose Mourinho's first team, although injuries restricted him to 13 appearances during the 2021 campaign.

His biggest moment of the year came on the opening weekend of the following season.

Tanganga started at right-back against reigning champions Manchester City and produced an outstanding performance against Jack Grealish and Raheem Sterling.
