This book in particular is about a man named Toshio.

He is, I think, in his 40s in the setting of the book.

And he survived firebombings that we have discussed in detail when chatting about The Grave of the Fireflies.

I'm going to say that, but, or, but anyway, I, uh, as an American, I never really think about these things because where I'm from is where all of this started.

So what am I going to do? But reading this book, I was like, oh, oh my god.

And there's a lot of grotesque scenes with the American tourist going on the various sexual escapades that the protagonist, Toshio, encourages him to.

He hires prostitutes for them, and they go to a sex show.

Does the fucking Boogie Woogie guy make it? I couldn't possibly comment.

No. Shout out Toshio.

It's crazy that they've got Gojo and Jogo in there.
