Tortona

His heir forced to surrender himself to his own sons and throw himself on their mercy.

Judith, his wife, was sent to Tortona and kept under strict guard and Charles was sent to a monastery at a place called Prum.

But the Astronomer tells us that he was not tonsured into the monastic life but rather kept as a prisoner.

While the Astronomer is our main source for Louis the Pious, there are other sources such as Agobard of Lyon, who is a man writing in the court of Lothair, who places the whole blame for this civil war and fall from grace of the emperor squarely at the feet of Judith, his wife, and her apparent infidelity, which, as we know, is a classic trope that has been used to discredit many a powerful woman throughout history.

Because I'm asking mainly because, uh, I saw Zalgiris, uh, both games, uh, last week against Kalev and, uh, TalTech, and I also watched some, some of their friendlies, [laughs] and it's really up and down I might say, as they are starting their EuroCup campaign tomorrow, uh, against, uh, Tortona, I think.

So how, how would you see?

I mean, it's a com- it's a completely new team, new coach, very, uh, let's say almost all of the players are new to the system and to the, to the club itself.

Just I don't know how long they can go with this Estonian, uh, concept.

They wanted to hire Siim Sdervenna.

They actually made him a offer, but he went to Italia for a tryout and now get a, got a two-month, uh, contract from Tortona.
