pays their last

respects and even the guy that hurts you gives you the high five and tells you godspeed and they cart you away and you are literally never the same again right so maybe the cart is used more liberally now perhaps that could be i mean look i remember In my mind's eye, being the water boy at Rolling Hills High, standing at Torrance High School on the sideline, and my older brother, who was so swole and so violent, if he caught you in his small zone of ability to hit you.

And he did that to the great quarterback slash catcher, great baseball star, many years in the major leagues, to Jason Kendall, the quarterback at Torrance High.

He blew Kendall up so bad.

We were talking about the air conditioning at Torrance, and one of the parents checked in with us and wanted to make sure we got that.

Our youngest daughter is currently enrolled in Torrance High School.

We offered to purchase an air conditioning unit for their classroom.

And the teacher said that she was not allowed to accept.

And so like it's just one of those things where it's just like I love that and I'm infusing like real genuine things that like I've done as a fan and, uh, you know, a devotee of, of, of these pieces of media.

Um, some of this even, you know, speaks to my experience at Hellmouth Con, which is the Buffy convention that takes place at Torrance High School.

Um, and so just again, putting, putting that authenticity into it, not that anyone needs to verify my cred or Savannah's cred, like to believe us, but also then to hit those touchstones where people can go, "I understand what is being referenced here, and so I don't have to do like a lot of emotional buy-in to a concept I don't understand," because I think that would keep people away from understanding the crime and then the idea that, oh, someone is inspired by these movies to do a crime.

Um, you know, and, and I, and I want to make clear, and I'm sure people would, would get this, but the crime is not being a fan of something.

They filmed it in a warehouse in Van Nuys, so in the valley.

And the school for a while was the Torrance High School that was also used for Buffy.

Yeah.

If we had gotten some of the high school ones, I think I would have clocked that too, because I definitely have seen that Buffy High School many times.
