Toronto Eaton Centre

Yeah.

On a lighter note, I'm just noticing in my feed here that the Best Buy at the Eaton Center in downtown Toronto, there's apparently giant lineups for the launch of the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Can

you guys get some taste? Amazing.

At this point, it wasn't nice because it was turned into a makeshift hospital and shelter.

But department stores, one was like the Eaton Center, which is like not even a store anymore, but like the Eaton's.

It's like, that's a big deal in Toronto.

Well, actually, Canada, that's a big deal.

We don't feel safe walking.

We don't feel safe saying to our children who 10 years ago, we would have thought were old enough to walk downtown or to take transit downtown and go to the Eaton Center.

That age has to creep up because we don't feel comfortable doing that.

And yet we're not throwing up our arms and saying, whoa.

I just got overheated and passed out and got dragged out of there.

Once was at the Eaton Center in Toronto.

You could probably do it.

although with the price of diesel fuel, they've gotten more expensive.

They're usually used for day trips or maybe two or three day trips like not long trips and they're usually used to visit something close by which helps with the cost, right? It's more expensive to take an airplane to France than it is to go on a bus trip to Toronto to do some shopping at the Eaton Center which is a big mall.

Often a bus trip is something that older people will do.

The average age of people on a bus trip to my knowledge is probably 60 or older.

Diane and I ended up working together on many, many projects.

One of our most significant projects was we opened the Eaton Center location together.

She was the store manager and I was the certified trainer.

So I did the hiring and the training and getting the store set up, whatever.
