so not a lot of demand for the Tormach wheels I talked to him about that, he said that it would be really easy just to dress the sides because the resin is that soft with a diamond plate, super cheap diamond plate the only issue with the wobble is if I would like to sharpen blades that don't have a sharpening notch and if i would like to sharpen any blades that have a recurve in them so you are basically using the side of the wheel but i have similar knives in the future currently i don't have so this is a problem to be solved in the end and also dr marvin is super super accommodating and he's like very responsive to emails and messages and about how to make it straight so these wheels were definitely not cheap but they are fucking amazing they are so great I'm really really happy and by saying soft they are not like extremely extremely soft you don't have to be overly you know gentle with them but you should like if you are running a Tormek you should be running away from the edge so you know because shit can happen especially if you are going on the edge with a recurve blade or anything similar but they are amazing I got a 20 micron one and a 5 micron one so the end finishing of the edge is like equivalent I guess to like 1500 grit or a little bit above that.

But they yield an amazing mirror kind of edge.
