Torch Lake

There's been some discussion of is there the potential for Michigan's only exclusive golf and ski country club where there's a 120 acre farm sitting between two of our villages that there's some early survey work going, is there enough population for a brand new clubhouse that would have either its own dedicated course or the ability to have its own country club course.

So we're looking at a lot of out of the box kinds of things to say, okay, that would, Would the Torch Lake folks come over? Would enough folks come fly in to Antrim Airport? Would enough folks come up from Metro Detroit that had a club atmosphere, whether it's summer, winter, both? There's a lot of permanent residents, people whose folks built here in the 70s on the courses whose kids now are adults and retired that are up here that are asking for, hey, how can we get a little better amenities or other amenities that might become a great wedding venue spot.

We have all kinds of ideas, but right now we're focused on the core, and that is the Lakeview Hotel.

Another major aspect, Bill, is community involvement.

Why would I not? Have you ever been up north? Those lakes are the top rated.

Torch Lake.

This means she's running for something later-

And then number three is Orchard Lake.

There's so much up there.

Torch Lake was nearby.

Once you're in that air, Cross Village is over there, Tunnel of Trees.

We could have stayed another four days and done all sorts of cool stuff in that area up there.

I think it got hit by like a snowplow or something.

This would have been up around Torch Lake area.

And the dog had... dug down into the snow because it could smell something dead.

And then it was like trying to pull out.
