With that being said, the Battle Chargers weren't the only auto-transforming duo in the line.

The Autobots had their own spring-loaded pair introduced a year prior, Topspin and Twintwist.

If this was meant to be a two-on-two rivalry between similarly gimmicked duos, as far as the toy goes, it wasn't even close.

They actually showed up in the original Sunbow cartoon, in the US Marvel comics, while the Jumpstarters got nada.
