Top End

Uh, I hadn't been to Mount Dare to the pub there.

Uh, been to Ayers Rock obviously, and Alice, and then obviously in the Top End, I'd been up there a couple of times already.

But on the way back, camped in some spots I've never camped at.

Some I've popped into and had a look, uh, like the Clem Walton Park.

In the Northern Territory, as, uh, we also mentioned, apart from the m- the, uh, wonderful markets that are up there, Mindil Beach, having a look at, uh, Kakadu.

Great place to explore a last frontier, like some of the country you've been in, Duck.

Uh, and that's happening now, and it goes on for the next couple of weeks, as well as that Darwin International Short Film Festival to see some of the backdrops, some of the beauty in the unspoiled country that we have in the top end of Australia.

It's not only used for Australian footage, promotions in Australian movies, but we also have international, uh, artists, international stars that come and film some of that work from the top end of Australia.

And of course, we welcome all of that as well.

I mean, what happens with vouchers in the top end is that some people use them and some people don't.

I mean, I definitely don't want to go and just change policy because obviously it has unintended consequences like we've seen from the feds.

But I think our tourism sector knows that, you know, as a government, we absolutely support them.

Yeah, the MXGP, the numbers are looking pretty good.

There is still tickets available and I've actually noticed...

We're really ramping up around the top end especially.

I went out to Casuarina on the weekend and they've got the stand set up there.
