Tooting Bec Lido

I just like to bob along doing breaststroke.

But I do love challenging myself, so I joined the UK Cold Water Swimming Championships in January, which was at Tooting Bec Lido with some Blue Tit friends, and that was really fun.

I think the water was five degrees, so it was more about being able to overcome the cold than, you know, coming first because, like I said, I usually come last.

And I also challenged myself whilst I was researching the book actually, to enter the Dock to Dock swim at London Royal Docks, which is held in the summer, and I wanted to challenge myself with that to be able to swim a mile in open water, and I wore a wetsuit for that.
