As much as Dick Grayson enters the picture much, much later, to your point, there are earlier seeds, particularly with respect to the circus.

And here I really did like how everything tied together, where Tony Zucco is established as part of this Maroni operation and is in charge of, of, uh, sort of, uh, ground transportation once the illegal wares have been imported by Skeevers.

And when their, their typical operation, uh, run, runs into issues, uh, he has this big idea about using the circus, right? Because they were always traveling around in these giant trucks, and then that leads him to, to Haly's Circus.

Uh, they're having dinner.

Uh, they go back to their tent to try to, uh, practice, and Tony Zucco's there, the mob boss.

Zucco basically tells Mr. Grayson that, uh, Dick's dad, that they'll protect the circus, and you guys just got to kick them a little fee.

And Grayson's like, "Yeah, I'm not gonna give you any money for protection.

Uh, and yeah, he grabs Dick and squeezes Dick's shoulder.

Uh, and then Dick's father goes and puts a beating on all of the, the two other guys before getting hit by this, the strong guy.

Uh, Tony Zucco comes over to John, uh, Dick's father, and tells him, you know, "You've got to have my protection.

You can't afford it." Uh, and Dick's like, "I call the police." So Zucco takes off.
