Tony Deppen

Jackass.

[laughs] Uh, speaking of Flying Ryan, his buddy Jelly beat Tony Deppen in a singles match, which was a, uh, tribute match for Jeff Cannonball.

Which, if you didn't catch it, we had his-

Tributes

So then we are looking at our sixth match of the evening here.

This is Joey Janela versus Tony Deppen.

Now, this match was special on many levels.

The first one was, you know, Tony Deppen wanted to come back and wrestle on behalf of his friend Jeff Cannonball.

Joey and Brett made that match happen quickly.

Second, Joey and Tony have only met up once in singles action at GCW.

Like I said, my notes, my notes are in-depth enough.

I'm able to just sit here, read through them, talk a little bit.

I did a very good interview, had everything set up.

You know, e-everything was set up for a future, uh, episode with him and Tony Deppen because To- I had known that they were good friends.

But it was a 40-minute...

It was, it was very good.

I, to, to this day, I never know what happened.

Um, I actually do remember doing a ...

I was trying to set up a Tony Deppen interview, but when the whole thing happened, uh, I basically just got really sour on the idea and I said, "You know what? Let's just do Eagles Podcast and focus on that." And here we are.

A, kind of a crazy story.

I, and, and I don't wanna interrupt because I know I'll forget this if I don't, though.

His second to last match, I think it was like 2018, he wrestled Tony Deppen on a GCW card, okay?

[laughs] That was crazy.

In Tennessee, and he won, and he won a title.
