into Tomorrowland from the hub, you may not have noticed this huge building to your left.

And I don't know, no one here can blame you for that, though.

There isn't much going on with it anymore.

But if you walked into this show building of Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland back in 1970 or 1980, you would have found a circular theater in the round.

Now, do we know what a circular theater in the round is, guys? In the round,

isn't that when it's like two rings, right? Yeah.

And then Magic Kingdom opens in Florida in 1971.

Yeah, absolutely.

So when we first went in there, we were just hanging out in Tomorrowland and my cousin, who was like two years older than me at the time, he turns to me and he's like, oh yeah, he could do this.

And that should have been my first clue that this was going to be a problem.

But we went in and I was watching the pre-show and I was like, okay, we see an alien.

She is voice acting for the gods in this.

And before we get too deep into this, I just want to remind our listeners of what this attraction is.

You probably know what it is, but it was an attraction that soft opened in December of 1994 at Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland.

We had like a company at our high school and we did a performance.

There used to be a stage in Tomorrowland.

I don't think it's still there at all, but it was called.

There is a little stage like where the dance parties are, the parties and such.

It wasn't that stage.

This one was called the Tomorrowland stage and it was tucked back.

I don't know where in Tomorrowland it was, which is so funny.

Just as many times I went to Disney growing up, there are visually things that just I don't remember.

But seriously, if you've never experienced this attraction, you missed out on one of the most bizarre things Disney ever created.

Alien Encounter opened in Tomorrowland in 1995, the year I was born.

And unlike most Magic Kingdom attractions, this thing was designed to scare the living hell out of you.

And I'm not exaggerating.

It affects the environment.

around it.

Think about the people mover in Tomorrowland.

Part of what makes Tomorrowland so special is seeing those vehicles constantly moving above you.

The Space Mountain that that is the Jules Verne.

Tomorrowland is absolutely gorgeous.

And I would.

I would love to ride it, but I would be nervous about riding that just because the way the vests on the Vekomas are not set up for taller torsos.

You could not go anywhere anymore.

It was just Fantasyland and Tomorrowland for early entry.

And Disneyland, I'm talking land.

It's there for Disney Channel night.

We thought about doing something over in Tomorrowland since we were there already.

But Pirates is just so easy to make your first ride.

Disneyland has not yet announced an opening date for the garage that is expected to be ready in time for the debut of the Avengers Campus expansion and the Los Angeles Summer Olympics in 2028.

The east side garage will also help absorb the visitors coming to see the new Avatar-themed land, Cocoa Boat Ride, and re-imagine Tomorrowland debuting at the Anaheim Theme Park Resort over the next five years.

The new seven-level parking structure and transportation hub on the east side of the theme park resort will push the existing Disneyland bus drop-off and pick-up area along Harbor Boulevard the Disneyland's former Manchester employee parking lot that backs up to the I-5 freeway or as you know I would Interstate 5 but you know those of us in California call it the call the freeways the you know the I-5 but it's it's Interstate 5. um a pedestrian bridge will connect visitors by food, food, food.

That'd be quite impressive.
