So to be able to throw five touchdowns to... have a group of receivers produce four touchdowns plus Cedric Ross out of the backfield to see all these different guys contributing.

Tommy Maher, Jackson Harper, both of them had multiple third down conversions.

Vic was obviously the star of the game and you're hoping he can build off of that now that he's kind of got a target on his back.

But I'm telling you, from what we saw from him in camp and how he looked in that one, I think he's in for a big year.

The last key that I have just kind of outside of limiting those self-induced setbacks, I want to see them continue to spread the love.

I think it was great that you saw Jackson Harper involved in a real way in the passing attack.

I think it was encouraging that tommy maher now being used in a proper role for the first time in his career looked like the guy that i've been you know hyping up from having seen him practice these past couple of seasons spread the love you know get all these guys involved you've got multiple talented backs you see cedric ross in his first game catch a touchdown i i think there's going to be ways they they find to you know get the ball in all their hands Wouldn't be surprising if we saw some Damian Moore at times or some Oliver Lundberg Coleman for a little bit more of a power run game when we've got those situations.

I think they've got a lot of weapons.

Take a drink.

Tommy Maher is going to look a lot more effective as they use him properly in the slot this year than how frequently he was lined up out wide last year.

I just think they've got guys better suited to play you know, various roles this year and you're not having to shoehorn people quite so frequently in a way that maybe doesn't, you know, best set them up for success.

Uh, the atmosphere was incredible.

He ended up catching another on later in the game.

Turnovers and explosive plays are just such a massive... momentum swinger either way and that's another thing that it's felt like in the win csu's created explosives and the losses even when they've been fairly competitive it seemed like they've given up you know a 40 yard run in the second half that's the final dagger while just really struggling to do anything offensively they're having to fight for two three yards at a time like even in the the wind in 24 it didn't feel like they created a ton of explosives i guess they had the couple of big plays to goodie down the field, Tommy Maher caught a big touchdown.

So maybe that's me being a little bit too harsh, but can you generate three to five explosive plays that I'm classifying as, as gains of 20 plus yards, right? Like if you create 10 or 11 of them, sure.

That'd be awesome.

And then I read Father Tommy Marr's book by Enda McEvoy, but listen, bits and pieces, you know, and about the work that Father Tommy Marr did in Kilkenny.

And McAvoy makes the point that you don't see the benefit of Father Tommy Maher's work until he's gone.

And Kilkenny set in motion what Brian Cody carried for the next 20 years in Kilkenny.

So, you know, hurling has never been better, Colm.

But LaVon Brown's had a nice camp.

I think you're going to see Tommy Maher be effective in the slot.

I think we're going to see lots of multi-tight end sets.

I think it's going to look a lot different And we're going to see a lot more versatility with the offense this season than we have had in recent years.
