And, you know, uh, you're, you wanna see the Yankees win, but you have to feel a little bit for the kid, Tommy Boggs, who pitched a fine ball game for the Texas Rangers last night.

And you have to wonder what emotions he felt behind one to nothing, then his club tied it up for him in the top half of the ninth, on his first pitch in the bottom half of the ninth, lost him the ball game.

Well, I'll tell you what emotions.

And I, I, like I say, there's no way he could be ashamed of the way he pitched.

Of course, you don't like to lose, and of course, Boggs, uh, being the competitor that he is, did not like to lose.

And, uh, the one good thing, we had the ball game, uh, on television, and I'm sure that a lot of Tommy Boggs', uh, buddies up there in Poughkeepsie, New York, uh, got a chance to see the youngster pitch, and they gotta be proud of him.

Yes, and he's gonna win his share of ball games if nothing happens to him.
