Today, we are very happy to have Tomi Kinnunen, currently a professor of speech technology at the University of Eastern Finland.

His recent work centers on speaker recognition and voice biometrics, with a particular focus on speech security, spoofing attacks, deepfake speech, and the countermeasures to catch them.

He's also one of the founders and organizers of the ASVSpoof, the field's leading open benchmark for detecting spoofed and deepfake speech.
