mostly the typical platitudes and verbal diarrhea, typical of someone who thinks way too highly of themselves and spends way too much time on Twitter.

But in the archive, I did notice a recurring appearance of her now-husband Tom Weber in her mentions, which sent me down a tangential Google rabbit hole regarding Flanagan and Weber's relationship.

Many prescribe to the notion that in politics, families should for some reason be off limits.

But I believe, considering that Flanagan has only agreed to debate Michelle Tavoya on NPR News, that this relationship should get a bit more scrutiny.

This naturally begs the question, how compromised is NPR News in support of Tom Weber's wife Peggy Flanagan? How compromised have they been? How much cover is NPR News run for the Walls administration when the lieutenant governor is married to one of its formerly premier personalities? NPR News political editor Brian Baxt is set to moderate the debate between Flanagan and DeFoya on October 16th.

Again, the only debate Flanagan will agree to participate in.

Bax previously moderated the July 27th debate between Flanagan and Angie Craig, but did not disclose then for listeners that he had been professional colleagues with Peggy's husband at NPR News for two and a half years and was a chummy guest on Tom's show even before that.

Nor did he disclose that.
