Tom Sturridge

Uh, so I also-

Tom Sturridge I thought was really the highlight

Oh-

Okay

The Clouds of Sils Marias, Parijatem.

He's a beautiful director, and it stars Paul Dano, Jude Law as Putin, Alicia Vikander, and Tom Sturridge.

Now...

On paper, I looked and I thought, now this is looking really good because it's also based on a satirical novel of the same name by Giuliano D'Ampoli.

And it just gets bogged down immensely by this kind of dialogue containing a lot of ideology but no feeling.

And so from there, it's just this sort of stodge through something that I think could have been much more rock and roll.

On the other end, I knew to expect that, and I knew that I did everything I could to get in there.

Barry's reveals until later on makes those reveals kind of confusing.

Like there's a confrontation between Tom Sturridge, Remy Malek's partner in the movie, and the young man who, forgive me the actor's name, I'm forgetting, he's new.

where they reveal that this young man got his room in this apartment because before him, there was a gay couple living there who jumped out the window because they were diagnosed with AIDS.

And it goes by in a flash, that reveal.

Car.

I knew I recognized this Tom Sturridge.

He is in what I think is one of the more underrated movies of the last 20 years is Far From the Maddening Crowd from 2015.

He plays Sergeant Troy in that.

That is a beautiful child, I must say.

Tom Sturridge and Sienna Miller made a beautiful kid.

It's crazy.

For those who forgot, when she was filming the movie The Mysteries of Pittsburgh based on the novel-
