Tom Stillman

Well, any time now would be a good idea to sign a general manager.

I've always felt like And listen, I think Doug Armstrong is fully committed to playing out his contract and supporting Alexander Steen and supporting Tom Stillman.

But with that being said, I mean, if I'm Detroit, it's the first person I'm calling would be Doug Armstrong.

If they haven't called already, that's who I'd be calling.

Mm-hmm.

Would you rather be a ownership group, a chairman like Tom Stillman, who's got a great reputation, as do his investors, and the funds are, quote-unquote, somewhat limited, or an Enos, you know, so you are that guy with the bad reputation, but you're loaded? The

latter.

Because

You had Doug Armstrong in attendance, truly a passing of the guard.

But Doug Armstrong being there in the room and sitting down next to Blues chairman Tom Stillman.

Always great seeing Tom there, too.

But I want to say, like, it's not easy to.

Before we start today's announcement, we'd just like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Matthew Mayich and the Mayich family, and to all his friends and teammates and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

I'd like to thank and acknowledge some people in the room, obviously Tom Stillman and Blues Ownership Group, Doug Armstrong, all of our staff and current players that are here, Blues alumni, one of our former captains, Bernie Federico, and to all our partners and fans obviously tuning in on YouTube and on our app.

And I'd like to say a special welcome and thank you to Robert's wife, Jen, and their daughter, Tatum.

It's a very special day when you get to announce the leadership group for an organization as storied as the St. Louis Blues.

They will be wearing A's next season.

And Blues chairman Tom Stillman and Doug Armstrong, who is still part of the hockey operations group, will be holding a press conference tomorrow at 12.15 p.m. to officially introduce football.

Robert Thomas as the newest captain of the St. Louis Blues, and of course the other guys as well.

I'm sure they'll be taking some questions.
