I was astonished to hear that the song that Whitney Houston eventually made very, very famous, I Will Always Love You, um- She had, she was really excited because Elvis was going to do it.

And then Tom Parker said, "Well, you know you have to give up some of the rights if Elvis is gonna do it, and some of the publishing rights." And Dolly was heartbroken, but refused to do that.

And I think that tells you everything about her, that she, she was a tenacious businesswoman as well as a tenacious creator.
