Our next letter comes from Tom Nook, who says, Hey, Chrislyn Kifuri.

I'm about to embark on a semester abroad in Europe, which will be the furthest I've ever been from my parents.

I just turned 22 this summer, and I thought after turning 21 last year that I would finally be seen as an adult, but that is not the case.

I don't want to keep hiding things from them, but I also don't think they're entitled to know everything I do with my time and money.

How do I bring up the subject of revoking their control over my life? I don't ask them for a lot and they do a lot for me, but this is a boundary I've been trying to set for years and I think this is the perfect time to do it.

Please help Tom Nook.

Oh, I just got it.

And then that has put me off on a life of constantly being under the thumb of the tyrannical Tom Nook.

And, you know, it's it's this ex-wife that still wants alimony after 25 years.
