so yeah it can be used on the wastewater and it can be used on clean water yeah so there's a lot of applications in the clean water side and really there are so many industries that use a lot of water and this was shocking to me i came into i didn't really know about all the different industries but um Mining is a very big one.

They use a lot of water.

There's a lot of problems with their wastewater as well.

So there's also different forms of wastewater that you get.

Chemical processing waters, which might be a lot more heavy on the chemical side and they don't have as much organic matter, which makes it very difficult to do any kind of treatment on.

But you also have processed water.

So before we get into it, can you introduce yourself? Tell us who you are, what you do, and a little bit about your company.

My name's Tom Murray.

I am the Chief Logistics Officer for Dairy Farmers of America.

What's one success metric that sort of surprised you, I guess, from working with Samsara or that your co-op, like your owners, have really enjoyed seeing out of the results of working with Samsara?

You know, for hospitals that haven't encountered a Pediatric Canada ORAS case yet, What are the three or four highest yield interventions they should implement now before the first patient arrives? Give us your top two, three, or even four considerations.

Yeah, I think it's preparation, preparation and more preparation.

And so to me, it starts with having a sense of what the epidemiology is of the patients that you care for and how that's changing and who might need to be screened.

We want to be very thoughtful about when you choose to screen a child because of what it means if they screen positive.

But at the same time, you want to be aware of kids who may be at risk that you do need to be on the lookout.

So that would be the first thing.

I think the second thing, and we've seen this in our own institution with other high impact pathogens or things that are contagious communication, making sure that you have a plan to communicate to the right people so that if you do have a positive case, infection prevention finds out about it early so that we can assess the situation and not be the last to know.

So a related question, which is for such a child who may have a very long stay, either due to their therapy or their cancer care, what have you, what are some of the opportunities to deescalate them from their candida aura status? And how do you suggest that hospitals implement those strategies?

Can you tell me more about that?

Yeah, well, smoke and cessation, nicotine replacement products are free forever on the medical card anyway, and they're available from every single pharmacy.

But daily, we provide advice to people on picking a date, designing a plan that's appropriate for them that they might stick to, signposting them to other services, whether that's psychological and behavioral therapies that people often have for other supports, and advising on the right NRT.

Unfortunately, the statistics around smoking are still... really, really worrying.

Seven million deaths a year.

There's 1.6 million deaths on top of that for people who are dying from passive smoking.

So that's 8.6 million people every single year dying from something that's entirely preventative.

But what's your priority highlight in relation to that, Tom, that you want to highlight for listeners today in relation to vaccinations in the pharmacy setting?

As a, as a solicitor, as somebody who advises on big legal claims, how would you reduce that bill?

Yeah, look, it's a, it's a, it's a key question not just for the, for the Premier League but for, for all clients of the, of the legal industry.

For 40 million, you could sign Garnacho or Estupinan, finish ninth in the Premier League and miss out and, and lose an FA Cup final.

So, uh, you know, it's a significant amount of money.

Um, I think, [chuckles] uh, look, the first way to reduce legal costs is, is through the adoption of technology, and this is where, in my view, the way kind of big law operates, which is huge law firms, uh, is, is somewhat broken.

I think, um, I think firms need to be driving the use of technology to, to work more efficiently and more effectively.
