Tom Lammonby

So, uh, well done to Josh Thomas for picking up the first Golden Apple of the evening for 50 Over Performance of the Year.

Gibbo, have you given the spoilers away then? Is it a, is it a, uh, an open and shut case for 50 Over Player of the Year, uh, for Tom Lammonby?

Oh, I think so.

I mean, he was, he was outstanding.

And it handicapped him right the way through the first three months, three and a half months of the season.

Um, and, and, but he found form in the One Day Cup, and he carried that form on into the last six County Championship matches, and made a huge difference in, in, well, obviously in the One Day Cup, but also going on into the Championship.

So yeah, Tom Lammonby.

Uh, he's, um, I think he's batting as well now as he ever has done, if n- if not a bit better.

Ben Cox would be another one.

Someone I was very close to picking, well, two people, and I was split between them before I went with Lammonby, was, um, Jack Haynes and Lewis Duplooy.

Like, those are the two I was thinking for number three as well.

Both had unbelievable seasons.

So I'm pretty pleased with my side here, looking at it.

I've gone with Emilio Gay and Ricardo Vasconcelos at the top of the order.

And then Tom Lammonby at three, David Bellingham at four, Jake Lehman at five, and then Ryan Higgins, one of my all-rounders, at six.

Chris Benjamin will take the gloves at seven.

so it means obvious-

Tom Lammonby got a double 100, Tom Abel got a triple 100, and Tom Banton got 100 for England.

So Somerset Toms have had a good weekend.

Somerset Toms.
