I'm enemy of Melody Hayes Tom Hooper but the but having making a story about a person who is who is alienated and who is tries to assert control and failing because the world ultimately doesn't accept her and she gets taken before her time before she has the opportunity to become the person she might have been getting seen like that really yeah it really hit me um yeah because yeah it shows that like no this is a universal feeling even if the specifics are different

yeah because again even though the director did not intend to make like a film about gender um even if you're just looking at this from an angle of like uh from like a cis angle like this still has plenty to say with regards to like you know cis women like gender and their fears and things as well because yeah it like you said it's a reversal of how she kind of started out of you know picking up guys in order to then take advantage of them uh to use their bodies for her own purpose like yeah she is being she is isolated she is being hunted down uh by a man who seeks to use her for his own pleasure um and then on finding that he can't you know She's not a threat to him.
