Tom Hafey

I used to run every morning.

Tommy Hafey lived in Beaumaris.

Mm.

And Tommy ran every morning, and I would see Tommy, and didn't run with Tommy, he ran too fast for me.

I decided to have a grand final breakfast.

Yep.

And so I rang Tommy Hafey.

I said to Tommy, my former coach, "Can you come and do the breakfast?" And, uh, Tommy did, and he said he wouldn't take any money.

Tom Heafey, who was a famous Australian football coach, four premierships, he coached, first of all, Richmond, then Collingwood, then Geelong, then the Sydney Swans.

and he was a personal friend of mine.

I brought him into some of my seminars.

Wonderful man.
