Tom Everett Scott

I mostly know the first guy, although I would be hard pressed to name anything I saw him in.

Tom Everett Scott? Tom Everett Scott.

I think he was in That Thing You Do.

He was.

It is.

It's supposed to be funny.

And I mean, Tom Everett Scott is playing this as fucking broadly as I've ever seen anyone play anything.

Oh, he is mugging like crazy.

[laughs]

I've, I've already thought about scenarios where, [laughs] where like, where, where we have one, and I have one, and then I have, like, another one with, with a g- maybe, like, Tom Everett Scott, right?

[laughs]

And we're, like, we're all together [laughs] watching these and, and sweating these in.

The great, the great, the great thing about g- uh, counting all your eggs before they hatch is, like, you know exactly how many chickens you're gonna have.

[laughs] I do like the idea of stress sweating.

Like, you're like, "Oh, man, like, it's gonna be tough when I'm sweating, like, my personal $3 million sweat versus the one I have with Tom Everett Scott." Like, [laughs] is he gonna be offended if I'm overtly sweating mine over our shared sweat?

[laughs]

And the different celebrities that were there, they were just as passionate about fantasy football.

Richard Christie from the Howard Stern Show, he was drafting with a bunch of people every day and Thomas Everett Scott and James Roday.

And it was just really cool to see these, you know, celebrities or NFL players like interact with the fantasy community and sit down and have a fantasy draft or sit down and talk about, you know, week three in 1999 or whatever it is where Adrian Peterson or Austin Eckler, I guess not in 99, but 2008, 2010, um, talking about these games.

And it was just a really cool experience.

The young actors and then the parents love both those actors.

I just have to say, the fact that you have Tom Everett Scott, who was...

In one of the biggest movies in the 90s, that thing you do, that had to be on purpose.

Was that on purpose?

And Tom sometimes will go and play drums with them.

And because they're all younger than me, I'm like, you don't understand.

You have Tom Everett Scott, the drum player from that thing you do playing drums in your band.

This is the coolest thing in the world.

You may or may not know who that is.

Tom Everett Scott.

Kind of looks like Tom Hanks, and he was in a movie.

Rudy Galindo, a very fantastic figure skater.

... on the bored side for the first few episodes.

But, you know, um, uh, our mutual buddy, Tom Everett Scott, uh, uh, recommended that.

And he said, "If you like creepy New England stuff, then that's, that's the show to watch." And I said, "I love creepy New England stuff."

[laughs]

So it kind of took a while to get around.

And once enough people said it was good, I decided to watch it because I liked Tom Everett Scott at the time because I really liked American Wharf in Paris.

Oh.

And even, even though now that I'm an adult and I realize American Wharf in Paris sucks, I still like Tom Everett Scott.

Does that predate this movie? I think it is 1997.

Okay.

So, like I said, I didn't see this movie at the time.

I saw it just a couple years later.
