... to use 'cause there's more buttons and less shift behavior and what, what was the process like with Orchid when you were deciding, you know, maybe whether or not to give people like synth controls like, you know, ADSRs and LFOs and all this kind of stuff?

Tom CosmGUEST
Well, I mean, it's the, the, the, the idea to only have, you know, sort of like nine knobs and a, and a handful of buttons is, is, is, is a Kevin Parker thing for sure.

Tom CosmGUEST
Um, 100%, you know, his-- I mean, if I had it my way, we've got a really good, unbiased, but we've got a really good sort of proprietary synth engine on there.

Tom CosmGUEST
It's, it's, it's, it's, it's an actual synth engine and we're not just playing samples or whatever.

Tom CosmGUEST
And, you know, if I had it my way I would have all these knobs and sliders and everything to be able to do sound design on it.

What, what was, um, the first ex- like when-- did Kevin approach you, um, initially and say like, "I wanna build this thing"? And if so, like what was his, what was his pitch to you?
