It's a personal commitment, right? So it's like you just start saying, I'm going to make this film.

And people become attracted to that.

And then I literally would take the money I made in freelance, buy a roll of film.

And then we'd go out and I'd gather my gang and we'd shoot for one or two days.

Then I had to deal with Film Lab in Detroit, a film lab.

And I'd be like, look, I don't have a lot of money, but would you at least process it? Then when I get some more money, I'll come down, I'll pay for the work print and I'll pay you for processing it.

And Stephen, happy to have you chime in on this one, too, because I'm just curious what happens next.
