And I read that and I thought, oh, you know, you must have an experience of Tom Brown Jr. or John Young's Wilderness Awareness School, because that sit spot idea of opening to the senses is something that I experienced when I was, like you say, doing bushcraft myself.

So was that intentional to bring that experience in? And it's a real experience.

right right but having said that uh the guy francis and the other guy's good and but they do have a good chemistry so it's it's worth checking out nice so the new grand tour on amazon if you have it go check it out all right

um because matt is such a book guy and we've doing a book swap i thought i would recommend two of my favorite books of all time um both by the same by the same author tom brown so the first book that i read by tom brown is called the tracker and uh when i was in when i was in college i had a teacher i had a class that was like a site specific art class and it was we had just a few people i think there were six or seven people in the class and so occasionally we would get in the teacher's minivan and we'd go to different places around baltimore to look at site specific artwork right so artwork designed for space

and uh my work that i was doing was like At the time, and I've always been really into Indians and that culture and that mindset of loving the earth.

I was doing these stretched canvases in trees between limbs that had paintings on them that were kind of reminiscent of... different East Coast Native American groups and where they would have maybe taken a blanket or something and hung it in the trees for different stuff.

So because my teacher knew that I was kind of into that, she suggested this book called The Tracker.
