Tom has been warning us pre-pod in the green room that his corporate firewall may be shutting his laptop down at any minute.

I don't know if you watched him when they lost to Barnsley, but he sort of complimented our front line and said how most teams in League One wish they had a strike force.

You know, we've got Tom Bloxham, Niall Ennis, Dale Taylor, Jerry Yates and Dion Charles.

I mean, five strikers there that could start in most teams.

So we've got firepower.

So interesting to see how his energy levels are after Wednesday.

And finally up front, I would probably say Bloxham's more key than anyone around him because he's the one that sort of goes for 70 minutes and tries to hold the team together.

I'm sure you know Tom Bloxham for his time at Shrewsbury, but athletic, very tall, strong, is learning the role every single week, but looks better every week.

And depending on who starts with him, could be Dion, it could be Gerry, so... um both those hold their own qualities as you'll know through this league but yeah so blocks and caroy williams and peacock farrell for us to pick you know back to front sort of thing

There's bodies flying.

Karoy Anderson's in the box asking for the return pass from Charles putting it to Bloxham, who plays it across goal.

But yeah, he really set the tone with the crunch and challenge, really cleanly wins the ball, obviously sets us on our way.

A bit of a scramble.

They're staying behind after training and they seem to be mixing better rather than...

I think this time last season, they had an attitude of complacency and... we're better than this, we'll sort it out eventually kind of attitude that nearly got us relegated.

So I think the whole culture of the place, and that's down to Ian Everett for having, you know, nearly 12 months in the job now and having a pre-season with him and getting, you know, players are improving, aren't they? I mean, Karoy Anderson was really good on loan last season, but he already looks a better player because it's a more confident team, you know, and Bloxham, what he's done with Bloxham is incredible, I think.

You know, turned him into a kind of a functioning centre-half, centre-back, centre-forward that can go wide.

We're miles off it.

I think the expectation now with the squad we've got, I mean, if you look at our strikers, you know, I know they're not fit, some of them, but we have Gerry Yates, Dion Charles, Dale Taylor, Niall Ennis and Tom Bloxham.

Now, you won't find a League One club at the moment with five strikers on their books, Not many people have five strikers to start with, but we've actually, for the first time in our history, got four or five strikers that should do the business.

So they all can't play, obviously.

I think this will be a cracking game.

I'm going to go for a 2-1 home win.

And in terms of the first goal, I would go for Tom Bloxham.

Well, the mood was, I, I think cautiously optimistic.

And like Tim said, the sun's shining, which was always, which always helps, and a, a few beers always helps as well.

I, I don't think we were under any illusions that it was, you know, it was gonna be anything other than a, a tough afternoon in terms of, you know, how much possession we'd have, and which, which did play out.

But, you know, glad that Bloxham and, and Charles were, were both starting 'cause that's pretty much all we've really got up top, isn't it, in terms of sort of first choice really.

And other than that, you know, we knew Brown wasn't gonna be playing.

Wondered whether Munro might start, but listening to Everett pre-match, it, it wasn't a surprise that, you know, that he didn't.
