And so when we started the mine, they were all the supervisors.

Most of them were tallies, right? And it took me about 18 months of just talking to people and you hear all these things and you get in conversations with people.

And what had happened was the ancestors of the Lahirians lived on the high ground behind Rabel, behind the Tolais.

And so they didn't have much exposure to meat.

So they were only little guys, you know, living off crops and what have you.

And the Tolais would raid them and eat them.

And this was 1996, 98, 97, 98, right? And there was still cannibalism in New Guinea in the 70s.
