So, yeah, I was quite sad about that because those kind of revolutionary, completely off-the-wall groundbreakers are few and far between in this day and age, I reckon.

Of course, we stumbled over by accident a piece of her art at the Tokyo Government Building last year when we got up to one of the observation decks and there was a piano, a grand piano painted by her.

Correct.

which, of course, only properly trained people are allowed to play.

Oh, it really is.

She didn't just step into an abstract role, she entered a very specific building, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Nishi-Shinjuku.

Designed by the legendary architect Kenzo Tange, completed in nineteen ninety-one.

And Tange didn't just build an office block.

But, like, you still got the, the best views in Tokyo.

You got the, uh, the government building, the Metropolitan Government Tower.

Mm.
