A severe clinical fear of pregnancy and childbirth, often driven by anxiety over pain, medical complications, and body changes.

So we often see patients who are anxious about needles and anxious about vaginal examinations, and they need support to manage their anxiety.

Tocophobia, fear of childbirth, is often a deferral to MMPI, and typically the specialist midwives would work with these patients.

So antenatal is the first pathway.

The second one is neonatal, And we work with parents whose babies are in the neonatal unit.
