Tohu wa-bohu

The Holy Spirit is the first dimension of the Godhead revealed in Scripture.

The Bible says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." It says, "Now the earth was void, formless, tohu wa-bohu," is a Hebrew expression.

The Bible says, "And the Spirit of the Lord hovered round the face of the waters." The Spirit of the Lord.

The Spirit of the Lord.

It says, "Arise," Amplified says, "from the depression and the prostration that circumstances have kept you." It says, "Rise to a new light.

Arise, shine," it says, "for your light is come, and the glory," there you have it again, "the glory of the Lord is risen upon you." It says, "For darkness shall cover the earth," is the expression Tohu wa-bohu, confusion and chaos, "and gross darkness," the people.

It says, "But upon you the glory of God shall arise." I like verse three.

My God, I receive it as a prophecy for myself.

It matters that we understand what we mean from the Bible standpoint when we use words.

For instance, when you say power, you can take for granted that everybody should understand what you are saying.

But if you array many believers and ask them, what did you understand by what you just heard, it would explain the reason why some may walk in power and others do not walk in power.

If you say wisdom, if you say creativity, if you say prosperity.

So there is a language problem in helping to define kingdom realities.

We use the same words, but the meanings are very different, and meaning is where conviction is built from.

If something is wrong with your meaning, your perception, and your understanding, you will build a wrong conviction or you will not be convinced at all.

So do not tell me you have light.

To what degree? To what degree? The Bible says in Isaiah 60:1, it says, "Arise," amplified, "from the depression and the prostration that circumstances have kept you." It says, "Rise to a new light." Then it says, "For darkness shall cover the Earth." It's the Hebrew expression, Tohu wa-bohu, confusion and chaos, "And gross darkness the people." It says, "But upon you the glory of the Lord shall arise." Now hear it here.

It says, "Gentiles shall come to your light, but their kings will not come to your light.

They will come to the brightness.

So how does open possibility and that mirror-like nature manifest? Well, um, the Kabbalistic texts describe a primordial stage of confusion, which is mythologized by something that one of your questions, questioners asserted already, this mythology of the shattering of the vessels, that there was a primordial stage where unity ruptured into an infinite number of pieces and then they were put back together again.

This is the phase of primordial activity that is hinted at by the, I believe the, the second verse of the Bible that poses the Tohu and Bohu, right? Usually translated as chaos and void.

But my-

The Tohu va-Bohu.

Yeah.

My interpretation of those primordial aspects is very, very radical and very different than the mythology would have.

Give it to us.

Because in my estimation, the Tohu is the structuralist dynamism of that mirror-like quality to display.

It said, that phrase, "For it was formless and void," is tohu wa-bohu, and it just means that there was nothing there, total emptiness, even chaos.

And not only was it formless and void, it says that, "Darkness was over the surface of the deep." That word is choshek.

It means that there is nothing there, and one commentator refers to verse 2 as, "The opening scene of the scripture is a galactic wasteland." It's dark all over, and God dispels this darkness by the first words recorded in history.
