I'm wondering in your case whether those tears were of grief for what you had lost for all of those years that

you'd fought for it.

I think without doubt, without doubt.

And so, you know, that, that sense of grieving.

the old Todd Muller, if you like, the old purpose, you know, which had been, you know, it had been wrapped into my sense of self-worth for 40 years, right? Yeah, okay, when I was 13, I didn't, you know, walk around totting a boy saying one day I'm going to be prime minister.

But in my mind, I decided that's what I want to do.

And then stuff came kept then happening over the subsequent years that seemed to point to that being an obvious ultimate goal.
