The game turned on a quickfire double from Tochigi City's Norwegian forward, Ngoieng Tokmac, who scored twice in the space of four minutes early on in the second half.

First, Tokmac got on the end of an accidental back pass from a Tosu defender to equalize, and then he put in a shot from the edge of the box that deflected past the keeper off a defender to make it 2-1.

With just five minutes to go, Jo Kato forced the ball over the line at point blank range, and that made the final score Tosu one, Tochigi City three.

Great start to the season, uh, for Tochigi City.

There were also plenty of goals at the Krasos Dome in Oita, where Oita thrashed Iwaki 4-1.

Toyama will be extremely pleased to be up and running with an emphatic win here.

They beat Hachinohe 5-0 at the city football station.

They took the lead in the 10th minute through Hayato Teruyama.

And then the fifth goal came in the 83rd minute, a really nice one from Keita Yamashita, 25 yards left for in off the bar.

Beautiful stuff.

Tochigi City 5, Hachinohe 0.

Quite a comeback down to earth for Hachinohe after their good win on the opening day.
